Product scope
SCOUT PRO is designed for engineering teams evaluating or deploying RTK positioning on moving machines. The integrated receiver reduces the need to assemble a separate GNSS board, antenna, enclosure, host cable, and machine-mounting solution during early integration.
Two configurations are available. Standard RTK provides a direct path for open-sky evaluation and lower-dynamics workflows. RTK + DR adds a 6-axis IMU, dead-reckoning support, and a higher update rate for mobile platforms operating in environments where GNSS reception may degrade temporarily.
Choose SCOUT PRO for moving platforms and field deployment. It is positioned for robotics, AGV, and RTK + DR evaluation. For open-sky validation, education, and cost-sensitive prototyping, review Kalmix SCOUT.
Engineering characteristics
The following characteristics describe the receiver-level integration features relevant to hardware evaluation and system design.
USB-C host connection
An integrated 3 m USB Type-C cable provides the host connection. Serial GNSS data is available without a separate receiver enclosure or external antenna cable.
AG3335-series GNSS platform
Standard RTK uses AG3335AT. RTK + DR uses AG3335A with an ST LSM6DSR 6-axis IMU for moving-platform integration.
Dual-band constellation tracking
A 135-channel L1/L5 engine supports GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS, and SBAS.
IP67 enclosure and mounting
The IP67-rated enclosure includes a 3M VHB adhesive mounting layer for installation on machines and mobile platforms.
NMEA 0183 output
SCOUT PRO outputs standard NMEA 0183 messages at 115,200 bps by default for supported host integration paths.
RTCM v3.x correction input
The receiver accepts RTCM v3.x correction data for RTK positioning workflows, including supported NTRIP-based paths.

Frequently asked questions
What is SCOUT PRO designed for?
SCOUT PRO is an integrated L1/L5 RTK GNSS receiver designed for robotics, AGV, precision agriculture, construction machinery, and low-speed autonomous platforms. Its G-Mouse form factor combines the receiver, antenna, IP67-rated enclosure, and USB-C host connection in one machine-mountable assembly.
What accuracy can SCOUT PRO achieve?
SCOUT PRO is designed for centimeter-level RTK positioning when supplied with a compatible RTCM v3.x correction stream. Review the Specifications page for the published accuracy limits and test conditions.
What is the difference between Standard RTK and RTK + DR?
SCOUT PRO Standard RTK provides a 1 Hz output and does not include an IMU. SCOUT PRO RTK + DR provides a 10 Hz output, includes an ST LSM6DSR 6-axis IMU, and supports dead reckoning for moving platforms operating in signal-degraded environments.
What correction data does SCOUT PRO accept?
SCOUT PRO accepts RTCM v3.x correction data for RTK positioning workflows. A compatible external correction source is required. Correction data can be supplied through an NTRIP workflow or another supported correction-data path.
How does SCOUT PRO connect to a host system?
SCOUT PRO connects to supported host systems through a USB Type-C interface with an integrated 3 m cable. The receiver outputs NMEA 0183 data at 115,200 bps by default. Review Get Started for the available evaluation paths.
How is SCOUT PRO different from SCOUT?
SCOUT PRO and SCOUT belong to the same integrated L1/L5 RTK G-Mouse receiver family. SCOUT PRO is positioned for moving platforms, field deployment, and RTK + DR evaluation. SCOUT is the entry-level receiver for open-sky validation, education, and cost-sensitive prototyping.
