Product Overview

GUIDE is a board-level RTK module for custom hardware integration.

GUIDE is Kalmix’s board-level RTK GNSS module family for teams designing embedded positioning hardware, custom GNSS receivers, and OEM integration projects.

Unlike a finished G-Mouse receiver, GUIDE does not include the enclosure, cable, antenna mount, or field-ready deployment package needed for direct installation on a machine.

It is intended for engineering teams that need module-level access, layout flexibility, and project-scoped support before moving toward volume deployment.

01

Board-level access

Designed for teams building their own control boards, receiver hardware, or embedded GNSS systems.

02

Not a finished receiver

GUIDE is a module, not a sealed receiver with enclosure, cable, antenna mount, and field installation package.

03

Evaluation before volume

Best suited for module evaluation, OEM design review, and technical discussion before production deployment.

Module-Level Capabilities

Module-level capabilities built around AG3335.

GUIDE combines the Airoha AG3335 platform, dual-band RTK capability, optional RTK+DR configuration, and OEM-oriented integration support for embedded positioning projects.

Module-to-Receiver Path

From module evaluation to receiver deployment.

GUIDE exposes the module-level foundation for board design. SCOUT Series packages the same positioning direction into a field-ready receiver form factor, while OEM projects can extend the platform into custom integration paths.

Path 02 · Receiver

Use SCOUT PRO receiver

You want the same positioning direction, but packaged as a field-ready receiver with enclosure, antenna, cable, and mounting handled.

  • Need faster RTK workflow validation
  • Prefer USB-C receiver instead of board-level design
  • Want enclosure, antenna, and mounting already integrated
  • Better fit for robotics, AGV, and field evaluation
View SCOUT PRO →
Path 03 · OEM

Start a custom OEM project

Your application needs project-specific hardware, connector, antenna, enclosure, firmware behavior, or integration support beyond a standard SKU.

  • Target volume and defined product roadmap
  • Specific mechanical or electrical envelope
  • Project-scoped firmware or protocol requirements
  • Single engineering path from module to receiver

Field Evidence

Real-world test records, not just datasheet claims.

Kalmix Ground Truth publishes selected field-test records with documented setup, route context, reference method, and interpretation notes. These records are not blanket performance guarantees; they help engineers inspect how a configuration behaved under a specific test condition.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers for engineering and OEM teams.

Practical answers about GUIDE module evaluation, K35C / K35E selection, documentation, direct checkout status, and OEM integration.

What is Kalmix GUIDE?

GUIDE is Kalmix’s board-level RTK GNSS module family for teams designing embedded positioning hardware, custom GNSS receivers, and OEM integration projects. It is not a finished receiver product; it is intended for module-level evaluation and integration into user-designed hardware.

What is the difference between K35C and K35E?

K35C is the standard RTK configuration with 1 Hz update rate. K35E adds RTK + DR capability, 10 Hz update rate, and an integrated 6-axis ST LSM6DSR IMU for moving platforms and more demanding integration scenarios.

Why is direct checkout disabled?

GUIDE is currently handled through engineering evaluation rather than self-service checkout. Module-level projects usually require discussion around host interface, antenna design, board layout, documentation needs, and production plan before samples or volume supply are coordinated.

Should I choose GUIDE or SCOUT PRO?

Choose GUIDE if your team is designing its own PCB, receiver hardware, or embedded electronics. Choose SCOUT PRO if you need a ready-to-mount RTK receiver with enclosure, antenna, USB-C cable, mounting, and field deployment already handled.

Does GUIDE require an external antenna?

Yes. GUIDE is a board-level GNSS module and requires a suitable external L1/L5 GNSS antenna and integration design. If you need an integrated antenna and enclosure, SCOUT Series is the better starting point.

What host platforms can GUIDE work with?

GUIDE is intended for embedded host integration through standard interfaces such as UART, I2C, PPS, and SPI on K35E. Typical hosts include MCU-based controllers, Linux host processors, vehicle electronics, robotics control boards, and custom receiver hardware.

Are datasheets and reference materials available?

Public documentation includes introduction, pinout and interfaces, mechanical dimensions, protocol reference, certifications, and knowledge base articles. Datasheet PDF and deeper integration packages are available through engineering discussion.

Can GUIDE be used for OEM or volume projects?

Yes. GUIDE is designed for OEM evaluation and volume integration projects. Production terms, sample quantity, documentation package, and support scope are discussed based on project requirements and expected deployment plan.

Can firmware or protocol behavior be customized?

Project-specific firmware, protocol, or configuration requirements can be discussed during OEM evaluation. Kalmix does not publish a fixed customization menu; these requests are reviewed based on technical feasibility, project scope, and expected volume.

What information should I provide when contacting Kalmix?

Useful information includes target application, expected volume, host platform, antenna plan, interface requirements, operating environment, timeline, and whether you are evaluating K35C or K35E. This helps route the discussion to the right technical path.
